Hello!
I've never tried writing with a specific audience in mind, and it's really strange for me to write "as a Teaching Assistant". So bear with me if I sound a little awkward and self-conscious.
Since we 1) have privacy issues and 2) already went (or will go) through everything in class
I won't do the whole name-age-school-hometown list again. Instead, I'll put down a few icebreaker questions and my answers here. If you want, you can put your own answers as comments below.
1. What is the first thing you think of when you wake in the morning?
The first thing I think of is usually breakfast. Then I start thinking about all the annoying but unavoidable things that come before breakfast, like getting out of bed, washing, etc.
2. What is your concept of a fruitful day?
For me, a fruitful day is one where I spend at least two hours outdoors walking and enjoying the weather.
3. What makes you feel the most secure?
I am a planaholic. I feel secure when I create a tight schedule for myself, and then stick to it. On the other hand, I feel cramped if someone else makes that schedule for me.
4. Based on something you've already done, how might you make it into the Guinness Book of World Records?
I believe I've already set the record for "most failed diet plans".
5. If you could be an ice cream flavor, what would it be? Why?
I would be green tea & yoghurt, because 1) I'd rather be my favorite flavor than anything else and 2) some people don't get it at first, but when they get used to me I can be pretty pleasant.
6. If there were a holiday in your honor what would it celebrate?
DESSERT DAY - one day of the year that all children and women get free desserts :D
7. What is your worst personality trait?
My worst personality trait is that I make hasty judgments and put too much weight on first impressions.
8. If you were on death row, what would your last meal be?
My choice of a last meal on earth would be, without doubt, a huge slice of carrot cake with whipped cream and sliced almonds.
9. What is one thing about you people would be surprised to learn?
When I am with others I tend to be very easygoing and lighthearted. I think people would be surprised to learn that I can be very cranky and irritable, especially on hot and sticky summer days.
10. What are you thankful for?
I am forever thankful for my health. I am thankful that all of my five sense are intact, that I have fully functioning limbs, and that I am intellectually and mentally unimpaired.
I had a lot of fun answering these questions, and I hope you had fun reading them. I encourage you to try out some of them yourselves.
Cheers,
K
